This is the part of town that I thought I wouldn't mind living in. I think most of the homes were well over 1 million dollars but can you blame me? Look at that beautiful landscaping. It was a far cry from the dirt and rocks of Las Vegas.
I'm pretty sure behind me in this picture is Puget Sound. We drove over it to get to Seattle. The whole city is pretty remarkable and has a lot of interesting history. My favorite story, which I hope was true, was how the streets used to be below the level of the stores so people would have to climb a ladder up to the shops and then to get to the next they'd have to go down and up another ladder. Just think of the women doing that in those monsterous dresses, that must have been a lot of work!

That is so cool. What did you go to Seattle for?
I went there to train on a new instrument that we are getting in the lab that does HIV testing. It was pretty cool because I got to go into the city twice while I was there.
How cool! I love Seattle. What were you doing? (I mean other than looking at trolls under bridges and lusting after million dollar houses!) Okay and as I write this, I glanced over and saw the answer to my question. Brilliant! Love you!
