I had a fun time in D.C. There really aren't many more words to describe it. Corbrett was a fantastic host and I was able to visit many places in the city while I was there. When I first arrived we went to the temple and it was beautiful.
Thursday and Friday I spent a lot of time walking, riding the metro and buses. I met Corbrett for lunch both days and we had some delicious Greek food on Thursday.
Here are a few fun things that I saw...

The White House
Chinatown (it should be called American-Chinese town)
Modern Art
The Air and Space Smithsonian
The Library of Congress
This is me (alone... yeah that is right, alone) on the steps of the Supreme Court
My favorite thing about the trip was on Saturday morning when we met a local artist at the Easter Market. The day started out a little damp but because soggy quickly when the rain and wind hit hard. Corbrett and I had just finished up our morning muffins and were walking around observing what quickly became chaos when we came upon and stoped to help a woman who maybe looked like she was in more distress than the others or it was just meant to be. I mostly stood and anchored the tent or had the laborious task of holding the umbrella while Corb helped Kevin (the assitant) load up their van. I really felt like it was my good fortune to be there and lend a hand because it was fun to chat with her and learn a little bit about her. She wanted to give back to us so she let both of us pick out a piece of her artwork. We were very fortunate.
I went to Maryland and went to dinner and bowling with some of Corbrett's friends on Friday night. It is expensive to bowl on the eastcoast. On Saturday Corbrett, Tim and I went to a Halloween party. Tim is my new friend. After we went to find some food, big mistake. I think that they were not as clean of a place as I would have liked.
This picture is cute, it is Tim and Corbrett sharing an umbrella in the rain.
Sunday I turned 29 years old... yikes. There were some very nice girls in Corb's ward that invited us over and made me a birthday cake. It was so nice of them and they were so much fun to hang out with.
I had a great time and am so glad that I was able to go!
