This is an amazing find! For years I've been driving to California and passing the big truck on the side of the freeway that has a huge "Peggy Sue's Diner" banner on the side of it. I always thought it was just another one of those abandoned water parks in the desert thing. That is wasn't real. Well I've got news for you, it is and we stopped. We were mostly entertained by the gift shop that was attached.

Highland Festivalu
If you know me at all you know that few things can hold my attention for very long, I was trained at BYU to hear the sound of a bell after 50 minutes and become restless. The Highland Festival managed to keep me entertained for a solid 5 hours or so.
First I'd like to introduce the Tartan Midgets...
This young bagpipe carrying kilt wearing man was kind enough to pose for a photo, it's the one thing I wanted during the festival...
Our time at the Orange County Fairgrounds was well spent, we even had some authentic fish and chips for lunch. Luckily Lola traded me her fish for my chips... so technically I had fish and Lola had chips.
